Run, Bike, Decorate

Had a nice easy 4 mile run this morning with Kona and then a moderate 1 hour ride this evening with Mr KT. In between I did some shopping with my momma. This evening after I went to say happy birthday to a friend of mine I finished decorating some Turkey Cookies. Sounds strange I know, but look how cute they turned out.

My mom sent me this recipe and I just had to make them. They almost turned out like the picture. Not bad. I did change a few things... like I made the sugar cookies from scratch because the pre-made ones are yucky. I also made my own chocolate frosting. Yum, yum.

Those look yummy. and very cute.
My kids used to like to make turkeys with a carmel square, and chocolate star, a fudge stripe cookie and a candy corn.
My son liked to bring them for his birthday treat, which needed some additional explanation in february.

OMG I have to make those!!! Sugar cookies with frosting are my #1 all time favorite food! And the candy corn just puts it over the top.

OMG. Those things don't stand a chance of surviving. Delicious in every way. If I eat 15 per day and don't eat any breakfast or afternoon snacks I wonder if I can work that in somehow.

kt... you've got MAD cookie skills! I had no idea that a triathlete could be SO multifacetted! NICE! My 7 year oId daughter Lila just looked at the pictures of the cookies and said, "Wow... I love those! I want some!" We'll expect some in the mail within the next few days!

Those don't look very healthy. :)

But if you eat them before a run I'll bet it's game on.
